The Salomon Husk Kids MIPS is a lightweight and comfortable ski helmet for kids, combining Salomon's modern Husk design with advanced protection. It is designed for young skiers who need a secure fit, low weight and excellent ventilation for full days on the mountain.
The helmet combines MIPS® with Salomon's EPS4D technology. MIPS® is designed to reduce rotational forces from angled impacts, while EPS4D maximises energy absorption from both oblique and vertical impacts. The lightweight In-Mold construction combines a PC shell with the EPS liner, keeping the total weight down to approximately 390 grams.
The Custom Dial system makes it quick and easy to fine-tune the fit around the child's head. Salomon's MaxFit Construction provides a snug and comfortable fit around the ears, while the oval fit and seamless goggle integration help create a comfortable overall setup.
Salomon's Airflow Concept provides continuous airflow between the head, helmet and goggles. High ventilation helps maintain a comfortable temperature, while the removable and washable liner makes it easy to keep the helmet fresh throughout the ski season.
