The Salomon Husk JR MIPS is a lightweight and protective junior ski helmet bringing the modern freeride look and advanced protection of Salomon's adult helmets to younger skiers. It combines low weight, excellent comfort and an adjustable fit for long days on groomed slopes, in the park and across the mountain.
Protection is built around MIPS® and Salomon's EPS4D technology. MIPS® is designed to reduce rotational forces from angled impacts, while EPS4D maximises energy absorption from both oblique and vertical impacts. The lightweight In-Mold construction combines a PC shell with the EPS liner for a strong balance of protection and low weight.
The Custom Dial system provides quick and precise size adjustment around the head, while Salomon's MaxFit Construction creates a snug and comfortable fit around the ears and helps provide seamless integration between helmet and goggles.
Salomon's Airflow Concept uses integrated channels to maintain continuous air circulation through the helmet, helping keep young skiers comfortable while reducing goggle fogging. The soft AdvancedSkin ActiveDry liner is quick drying and can be removed and washed.
