New for 2026/27: Völkl Peregrine 78 is a versatile and sporty piste/all-mountain ski for skiers who spend most of their time on groomers but want more width and versatility than a traditional narrow carving ski. With a 78 mm waist, it combines quick edge-to-edge performance with additional stability in chopped-up and variable snow.
The new 3D Multilayer Woodcore replaces the foam core of the previous model. Different wood species and constructions are strategically positioned to balance low weight, stability, damping and precise power transmission. Combined with Steel Band, 3D.Glass and Full Sidewall, it provides strong edge grip and a sporty, composed feel as speeds increase.
Völkl's 3D Radius Sidecut combines three different radii in one ski. The shorter centre radius makes the Peregrine 78 agile and fun in short carving turns, while longer tip and tail radii allow for bigger, more stable turns. Tip & Tail Rocker also makes the ski easier to manoeuvre in changing snow conditions.
The Lowride Integrated Binding System with Lowride 11 TCX keeps the binding low for direct control and efficient power transmission. The TCX heel also reduces the effort required to step into the binding. The result is an excellent choice for skiers looking for one versatile Völkl for the entire ski day, from firm morning groomers to softer and more variable afternoon conditions.
