Salomon Rio is a ski goggle for children approximately 3–6 years old, specifically designed for the youngest skiers. Its small child-specific fit, soft face foam and flexible construction provide excellent comfort and a secure fit with junior ski helmets.
This version features a Gold category 2 lens with 25% VLT. Category 2 is an excellent all-round choice for young skiers, performing particularly well in variable light and partly cloudy conditions, while also working well when the sun comes out. This makes Rio ideal for full days on the mountain when conditions change between sun and cloud.
The cylindrical lens provides a wide and clear field of vision, while Salomon's Flash coating helps reduce glare and reflections from the snow. This provides comfortable vision and makes it easier for young skiers to see and navigate the slopes.
The flexible and durable frame is designed for active children, while silicone on the inside of the strap helps keep the goggles securely in place. At just 110 grams, Rio is lightweight and comfortable – making it an excellent choice as a child's first ski goggle.
