Salomon Rio is a ski goggle for children approximately 3–6 years old, specifically designed for the youngest skiers. Its small fit, soft face foam and flexible construction provide excellent comfort and make the goggle easy to wear with junior ski helmets.
This version features a Tonic Orange category 2 lens with 22% VLT. It is an excellent all-round lens for young skiers, as category 2 performs particularly well in variable light and partly cloudy conditions, while also handling periods of sunshine. This makes Rio ideal for typical ski days when light and weather conditions change throughout the day.
The cylindrical lens provides a clear and wide field of vision, while Salomon's Flash coating helps reduce glare and bright reflections. Ventilation also helps maintain comfortable conditions around the eyes.
Rio is built to handle active young skiers. Its flexible and durable frame is combined with silicone on the inside of the strap to help keep the goggles securely positioned on the helmet. At only 110 grams, Rio is lightweight and comfortable – an excellent choice as a child's first ski goggle.
